CC 18162 PP

CC 18162 PP is a white masterbatch containing 60% highly purified titanium dioxide pigment. It provides excellent appearance and high brightness when used. CC 18162 PP has very high dispersion of the rutil type pigment which gives opaque appearance when used for coloration of white films, sheets and other products. It can also be used in addition to applied filler masterbatches to improve opacity and whiteness of mineral filled items. CC 18162 PP dosing typically ranges from 10-20% for thin films and lower for thick sections, with optimum level determined empirically. It can be added to internal layers of multi-layer structures to improve surface gloss. CC 18162 PP can be used with all known plastic additives and is suitable for indoor applications only due to titanium dioxide's intrinsic photocatalytic effect accelerating polymer degradation with sunlight or UV exposure. It is supplied in 25kg bags and has a 12 month shelf life when stored cool and dry.
