DESMODUR N 100

DESMODUR N 100 is an aliphatic polyisocyanate used as a hardener component for lightfast polyurethane coating systems. As a hardener, DESMODUR N 100 provides high resistance to chemicals and weathering for coated surfaces. It offers very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties when used in two-pack polyurethane coatings. Suitable for use in air- and force-drying coatings, DESMODUR N 100 is an ideal choice for automotive and industrial finishing applications. It can also be used for wood, furniture and plastic coatings as well as corrosion protection purposes. DESMODUR N 100 contains 22.0% NCO content and has a viscosity of 10,000 to 12,000 mPa.s at 23°C, making it well-suited for industrial coating processes. Its lightfastness and durability in harsh conditions translate to reduced maintenance needs for assets in industrial environments.
