CARBOPOL 676

CARBOPOL® 676 polymer is a highly crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer that provides excellent stability in oxidizing systems such as those containing chlorine bleach or peroxides. It has short flow characteristics and relatively high viscosity performance making it suitable for applications requiring thickening and suspension of insoluble materials. CARBOPOL® 676 polymer has good viscosity stability in high pH systems and is recommended for use in formulations where long-lasting viscosity is required. It offers benefits such as improved vertical cling which minimizes dripping and increases surface contact time, shear-thinning rheology suitable for non-aerosol sprayable or pumpable product formulations, and suspension and stabilization of insoluble materials and particulates.
