IMCD Italy renews its commitment to promoting inclusion, leadership, and opportunities in STEM fields, inspiring new generations to build the future.
For the second year running, IMCD Italy stepped on stage as a Supporting Partner of the STEM Women Congress in Milan - an international initiative that brings together schools, companies, institutions and students to promote gender balance in STEM disciplines and foster female leadership in science and technology.
Our colleagues Monica Righi, William Bonvini, Roberta De Iorio and Lorenzo Leoni joined Giulia Bedini, HR Manager, in conversation, sharing not only their studies and professional paths, but also the unexpected turning points that have shaped their journeys.
Their stories offered a genuine perspective: STEM careers are not straight lines defined only by formulas and algorithms, but journeys that call for creativity, curiosity and courage. Each change, often unforeseen, can become a chance to grow, learn and reinvent oneself.
As Giulia Bedini emphasized, “It is very important to be present at the STEM Women Congress to generate new awareness around the world of STEM—a world that is close to our hearts,” highlighting how crucial it is to integrate both scientific and humanistic skills to face the challenges of the future.
IMCD Italy’s participation in the STEM Women Congress is more than symbolic: it’s a tangible commitment to supporting education, inclusion and empowerment and to nurturing a corporate culture built on equity, continuous learning and real opportunities.
Through initiatives like this, we aim to spark inspiration in the next generations, encouraging them to pursue STEM paths with confidence, while reaffirming our role as a company that believes in the power of skills and the value of people.
Together, we will continue to build an environment that is ever more inclusive, innovative and forward-looking.
