IMCD Italy has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, the highest recognition for sustainability performance.
This result confirms the consistency of the company’s long-term commitment and is further strengthened by an improved overall score, reflecting ongoing progress in its ESG journey.
Over the past year, IMCD Italy has made notable progress in the Labour & Human Rights area, introducing new initiatives and certifications aimed at creating a more inclusive, safe and people-focused workplace. Key milestones include the WELL Certification, which highlights the company’s commitment to employee wellbeing, and the Gender Equality Certification, reinforcing its approach to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities.
At the same time, the company has further advanced its efforts within the Environment pillar by implementing an ISO 50001-certified Energy Management System, designed to monitor and improve energy efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
These developments build on an already solid foundation of sustainability practices, including certifications such as RSPO and ISCC+, which ensure responsible sourcing and full traceability along the value chain.
