TRANSLINK 37

TRANSLINK 37 is a high performance reinforcing extender designed to reduce water transmission in polymer systems when used in electrical applications. TRANSLINK 37 has been dehydroxylated by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystalline-bound hydroxyl groups and to improve brightness. It is highly pulverized for better dispersion, surface treated with a vinyl functional additive and has been processed to remove significantly more residue. This reduction in residue reduces the adverse effect that residue has on electrical insulative properties as well as extrusion processability. TRANSLINK 37 provides excellent initial and aged wet electrical properties. It is recommended for use with peroxide cure systems in advanced material formulations. TRANSLINK 37 kaolin provides benefits such as reduced water transmission and improved electrical properties which makes it suitable for applications in the advanced materials industry that requires such performance characteristics.
