ZOLTEK PX35-13 6MM chopped carbon fiber is a flake-type chopped fiber that provides ready impregnation of thermoset resins with the capability to mold complex shapes. The resultant carbon fiber/resin matrix composites offer high strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios ideal for applications requiring durability, impact resistance and lightweight properties. ZOLTEK PX35-13 6MM chopped carbon fiber may also be used as a low-cost alternative in applications, whereby a small portion of the matrix-specific product can be replaced with chopped flake carbon fibers with negligible impact to composite properties.
