High gloss PTFE coated glass fabric tool release sheet is used to line molds to give a durable, non-contaminating release surface. It has also been used successfully to cover patterns prior to laying up composite molds. Supplied with either a pressure sensitive silicone or acrylic adhesive backing. Will impart a very smooth surface finish on the cured laminate. Self-adhesive PTFE coated glass fabrics can only be applied in one piece to flat or single curvature tooling. However, the material can be effectively butt jointed on complex tooling.
