PRONOVA® UltraPure (UP) alginates are biopolymers available as sodium salts. Alginates have the capabilities to form hydrogels, which make them particulary interesting for applications like tissue engineering, drug delivery and cell culture as they provide a protective 3D matrix for optimal cell growth. PRONOVA® UP MVM is medium viscosity with high-M content, leading to the formation of softer gels.
