BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2655

BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2655 is a hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is used as a crosslinking agent for waterborne two-component polyurethane systems. BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2655 provides reliable incorporation and high chemical resistances which are important in industrial applications. Despite its relatively low hydrophilicity, this hardener can be easily dispersed in the aqueous phase, even at low shear forces. Coatings formulated with BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2655 yield films with high gloss and very low haze, providing protection for industrial equipment and infrastructure. It exhibits fast drying, rapid hardening with high ultimate hardness and excellent chemical resistance of the resultant films. This makes the coated industrial assets last longer.
