As a linear polypropylene ether polyol, DESMOPHEN 4028 BD can be combined with Desmodur products to formulate durable polyurethanes ideal for industrial applications. Its pale color and low viscosity make it well-suited for thin film and high-solids formulations. DESMOPHEN 4028 BD allows formulating polyurethanes with excellent flexibility and adhesion properties needed in protective and functional coatings for infrastructure and industrial equipment. Its moisture sensitivity requires proper storage and handling, but once combined into a polyurethane system, delivers high performance protecting industrial assets from environmental exposures.
