CERECLOR E 60

CERECLOR E60 is a clear mobile liquid free from visible foreign matter. It has a density between 1.350-1.390 g/ml and viscosity between 52-140 Stokes at 40°C. CERECLOR E 60 is a medium-chain chlorinated paraffins/alkanes, C14-C17 (60% Cl content). The total chlorine content is between 58.5-61.5% w/w. CERECLOR E60 is an extreme pressure additive used in applications where high wear protection is required, eg metal working applications. As an additive, CERECLOR E60 helps provide excellent lubrication and protects metal surfaces from friction and wear under heavy loads. Its high chlorine content allows it to form protective films on metal surfaces extending the operational life of components.
