FERMOPURE® is WACKER’s brand name for natural L-cystine and vegan L-cysteine. In 2018, the production of L-cystine – the starting material for L-cysteine – was transferred to a new site in León, Spain. Due to their entirely plant-based and inorganic source materials, WACKER cystine and cysteine are purely vegan. They are ideal for use in nutraceuticals, food and phrmaceutical products.
