THIXATROL P220X

THIXATROL P220X is a rheological additive that provides thixotropy and sag resistance along with increased viscosity build when incorporated into solvent-borne systems. THIXATROL P220X is easy to disperse and incorporate compared to other organic thixotropic additives. It efficiently improves the viscosity build when post-correction is required. THIXATROL P220X is best incorporated using a Cowles blade to allow homogeneous distribution of the pre-activated product. It provides high thixotropy and sag control along with improved pigment suspension and in-can stability. THIXATROL P220X is suitable for post addition and optimizes the incorporation process by carrying out a ladder study, varying both the time and the shear forces.
