PEMULEN 1621

Pemulen 1621 is a moderately crosslinked, hydrophobically-modified, polyacrylic acid polymer powder polymerized in a toxicologically-preferred cosolvent system. It was designed to form stable oil-in-water emulsions at low use levels. Pemulen 1621 offers high efficiency at low usage levels, thereby enabling cost-effective formulations to be developed. It provides exceptional emulsion stability and shear-thinning rheology to enable easy pumping and dispensing of finished products. Pemulen 1621 simplifies emulsification of silicones and water. It allows for cold or hot processing enabling flexible processing requirements. Pemulen 1621 is widely used in applications where stable emulsions are required at low usage levels.
