DISPERCOLL U 42

DISPERCOLL U 42 is an anionic high-molecular-weight polyurethane dispersion that is well suited for the wet bonding of textile substrates and a variety of film to film bonding applications. DISPERCOLL U 42 has outstanding bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials used in advanced manufacturing. Due to its softness and elevated temperature performance, DISPERCOLL U 42 is particularly beneficial for bonding advanced materials that require flexibility and durability at high operating temperatures. The thermal stability and resistance to plasticizers, grease and oil of DISPERCOLL U 42 can be increased by adding crosslinkers, which is useful for developing advanced composites with tailored mechanical properties. DISPERCOLL U 42 exhibits surface tack at room temperature and can be fully activated for bonding advanced materials by applying heat in the range of 80-100°C, allowing for efficient manufacturing processes.
