Carbomer Interpolymer Type B. Carbomer homopolymers or copolymers that contain a block copolymer of polyethylene glycol and long chain alkyl acid ester. Easy to disperse. Thickener and rheology modifier. Long Flow. Bioadhesive, Mucoadhesive agent. Suspension and emulsion stabilizer. Recommended for Semisolids & gels. suitable for Topical drug delivery, Ophthalmic drug delivery, Oral care applications. Polymerization solvents are Cosolvent mixture of ethyl acetate and cyclohexane (Calss II&III). Recommended concentration in Topical 0.5-3 wt%.
