Carbomer Homopolymer Type C. Polymers of acrylic acid crosslinked with ally sucrose or allyl pentaerythritol. Thickener and rheology modifier. Very Short Flow. Bioadhesive, Mucoadhesive agent. Suspension and emulsion stabilizer. Recommended for semisolids and gels. Suitable for topical, ophthalmic and oral care applications. Polymerisation solvents are Cosolvent mixture of ethyl acetate and cyclohexane (Calss II&III). Recommended concentration in topicals 0.5-3 wt%
