SYLVATAL™ D25LR Distilled Tall Oil by KRATON acts as an anti-stripping and release agent. It is a low viscosity, liquid long fatty acid chain. It exhibits monocarboxylic acid functionality and low saturated fatty acid content. It shows compatibility with other liquid fatty acid and vegetable oils. SYLVATAL™ D25LR Distilled Tall Oil derivatives are typically amines, amides and esters. It produces hard, water-resistant alkyd resins, as it contains high rosin content. It finds application in metal-working fluids, oil-field chemicals and concrete.
