EXCELLENZ® S 1000 is an alkaline alpha-amylase for use in granular, automatic dishwashing products. It is specifically developed for enhanced removal of wheat starch, for example tough pasta residues on dishes. EXCELLENZ® S 1000 hydrolyzes the glycosidic bonds in these soils, cutting the starch into soluble oligosaccharides. These reactions products are then removed by the wash liquor.
