Defoamer based on a stabilized co-polymer dispersion. It does not contain silicone oils of the type Dimethyl siloxanes. It is a very concentrated product and is active at low concentrations for a long time. It disperses VERY quickly in aqueous media making the defoamer effective right from the time of addition. DEFOAMER 1000 is applied in aqueous fluids such as cleaners, degreasers, fountain solutions, metal working fluids, cooling and process water etc. DEFOAMER 1000 can be incorporated in the fluid concentrate or used as tank-side additive and DEFOAMER 1000 will not adsorb to metal surfaces and consequently it will stay in solution over long time. Also it will not cause problems by subsequent surface finishing such as painting and coating. Product can be applied at pH values 6-11 when used in the concentrate. It can also be used in alkaline or acidic cleaners as tank-side additive. Application level in the fluid concentrate is in the range of 0.1-0.5% depending of product type.
