ESTISURF BA 1209 is based on a C12 branched fatty alcohol alkoxylate with a high HLB value. The product is 90% active in water and low-foaming compared with other alcohol alkoxylates with a similar HLB value. Product has a very low surface tension and extraordinary surface wetting properties, which can be used in formulated chemical products. It brings the following key benefits like very fast emulsification of oily components and Excellent surface wetting. ESTISURF BA 1209 wets & cleans particles with a very high speed. ESTISURF BA 1209 is an excellent emulsifier for silicone oils with lower energy need during emulsification compared with standard nonionic emulsifiers. Product may also be applied as co-emulsifier for oils, solvents and esters in combination with other nonionic surfactants with lower HLB values. Product is a valuable alternative to nonyl phenol ethoxylates (NPE) in applications, where other NPE alternatives do not perform as required.
