ESTISURF 264 is a low foaming, narrow-range nonionic surfactant based on 2-ethylhexanol. This narrow range ethoxylated alcohol has a low content of unreacted alcohol and produces considerably less foam than standard ethoxylates with a similar HLB value. ESTISURF 264 is applied in a broad range of applications such as CIP cleaning, carpet cleaning, metal cleaning, machine dishwashing and other areas, where a low-foam product profile is required. ESTISURF 264 may be handled and stored at lower temperatures than standard nonionic surfactants due to the low pour point & low cloud point. ESTISURF 264 stays liquid, homogenous and clear down to temperatures below -5C.Hydrotropes, such as ESTISURF A100-40 and ESTISURF M10, may be applied to solubilize ESTISURF 264 in aqueous cleaner formulations.
