Synthetic ester made from a polyvalent alcohol. ESTISOL F3185 is water-miscible polar ester solvent with a high boiling point and a low odor. The product is classified as non-VOC and is recommended as co-solvent in formulated products such as industrial and institutional cleaners, like Printing ink cleaners-, Resin clean-up- and Spot removers for hard surfaces like floors and tables. Product can also be used in Hard surfaces cleaners. It is often combined with other polar solvents such as glycol ethers to obtain a broad solubility profile. ESTISOL F3185 must be applied at neutral pH values to prevent hydrolysis.
