Short-chained ester based on fractionated fatty acid derived from coconut oil. It is a strong polar solvent with good environmental properties. It is recommended as a replacement for hydrocarbon solvents in industrial cleaners, degreasing agents, paint removers and other formulated chemical products. Products based on ESTISOL 170 must be tested for compatibility with plastic and rubber materials. ESTISOL 312 and/or ESTISOL 240 are recommended for use insensitive applications.
