Vitamin B12 Crystalline (by fermentation using a genetically modified micro-organism under containment) is a red to purplish-red, crystalline powder. It is highly hygroscopic and practically odourless, and begins to darken at about 200° C without melting. Recommended application(s): For enrichment of foods and beverages, including instant products and dietetic products. For food supplements such as uncoated tablets, coated tablets, liquid preparations; suitable for direct compression.
