MERIGEL® 347 is a kosher and halal certified modified, traditional cold water swelling maize food starch, E1422. It appears as a white to creamy-white powder with bland odour and taste. It is used in bakery and snacks, soups and sauces and fruit preparations. This starch provides medium viscosity, medium shelf stability and medium resistance to breakdown during processing stresses.
