Filtrase® NL is an enzyme preparation for food use containing liquid fungal thermostable endo-1,3 (4)- β-glucanase (beta glucanase) derived from a selected strain of Talaromyces emersonii, and xylanases. It improves the mash and beer filtration; also suitable for use with high mashing and sparging temperatures and ensures liberation of the starch for optimal brewhouse yield and performance. In other words, it reduces the viscosity and improves filterability of wort and beer, and increases brew house yield.
