Delvo®Plant AHTC is a kosher and halal certified enzyme preparation for food use containing thermostable bacterial α-amylase (alpha-amylase) derived from a selected strain of Bacillus licheniformis. Application market: Food and Beverage. It rapidly reduces the viscosity of gelatinous starch slurries; it breaks interior α-1,4-glycosidic bonds in starch releasing dextrins and oligosaccharides. Besides that, it is thermostable, applicable on all type of starches, and prevents retrogradation of starch. The producing micro-organism is of non-GM origin. Suitable for vegetarians.
