BUTTER BUDS® GHEE (66886) is a kosher certified butter concentrate, designed to contribute the flavour of cooked butter. Produced by liberating the fatty acids in butterfat, then encapsulating into a water soluble powder by spray drying with maltodextrin. One pound/kilo yields the flavour strength of approximately 80 pounds/kilos of cooked butter. Contributes caramelized, browned, cooked butter or fried flavour to soups, sauces, dry mixes, beverages, cookies, entrees and sugar-free applications. Potential uses: where production methods prohibit traditional browning or sautéing.
