BungeMaxx R-1000 is a lecithin derived from rapeseeds. Rapeseed lecithins are the right choice when a nonallergenic emulisifer from nature is needed. Due to a special extracting and drying process BUNGE is able to manufacture a final product which has similar properties to food grade soya lecithins. Rapeseed lecithin has one of the highest amounts of phosphatidylcholine amongst vegetable lecithins. BungeMaxx R-1000 is a tue alternative to soya lecithins. It has a red-bronwish colour and a typical vegetable flavour and odour. Lecithin is a substance with a high surface activity which makes it useful in a broad field of applications throughout the food industry.
