SILRES® REN 168 is a solid, silanol functional methylphenyl silicone resin recommended for the silicone modification of organic resins e.g. silicone polyester. Properties : -Used to improve the weather and heat resistance of paints. -Is FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and BfR XV compliant. -Used as chemically bound intermediates in organic polymers. - > 99% solid resin Applications : • Heat-Resistant Coatings • Resin Modification • Industrial Coatings SILRES®REN 168 is highly suitable for introducing a compatible silicone component into other binder systems to increase the weathering or heat resistance.
