INCI : Polymethylsilsesquioxane,Silica An innovative hydrophilic microsphere powder, GRANPOWDER QSA (China Approved) offers new formulating possibilities with water-based formulations. Structurally GRANPOWDER QSA is comprised of a silicone resin powder surface bonded with silica. While designed for the aqueous phase of formulations GRANPOWDER QSA has the unique ability to absorb both water and oil. This dual compatibility has shown to improve the stability of O/W and W/O emulsions by the Pickering effect and thus preventing coalescence. Performance benefits include excellent slip and sensory aesthetics, soft focus effect, and strong detackifying properties associated with glycols and/or rheology modifiers. Formulation Guidelines • When adding to water GRANPOWDER QSA should be hydrated with slow mixing for a short period of time • Typical use level of 1-10% depending on the application
