INCI : Water,Glyceryl Polyacrylate,Dimethicone,Polysilicone-11,Polysorbate 80,PVM/MA Copolymer,Phenoxyethanol,Ethylhexylglycerin Granhydrogel O-5CS is a unique blend of glyceryl polyacrylate, PVM/MA, and silicone elastomer. It forms a moisturizing film on skin with a pleasant after-feel and features the characteristics of a high power of water retention. Its clathrate, or lattice structure, holds water tightly through hydrogen bonding and van der Waal interactions. Addition of Polysilicone-11 provides enhanced aesthetics including reduced tackiness and smooth powdery after-feel. Can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions and water systems. Applications include (but are not limited to) skincare, body care and spa formulations. Add to the water phase of all emulsion types. Can be salt sensitive in some formulas, preferentially used in non-ionic systems.
