INCI : Water,Glyceryl Polyacrylate,PVM/MA Copolymer,Phenoxyethanol,Ethylhexylglycerin Granhydrogel O-NP is an aqueous solution of the polymer blend of glyceryl polyacrylate and polyvinylmethylether/maleic anhydride (PVM/MA). It forms a moisturizing film on skin with a pleasant after-feel and features the characteristics of a high power of water retention. Its clathrate, or lattice structure, holds water tightly through hydrogen bonding andvan der Waal interactions. Granhydrogel O-NP provides moisturizing aesthetics and functionality to formulations. Can be combined with elastomer gels (2-5%) or low viscosity silicone fluids for improved feel. Can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions and water systems. Applications include (but are not limited to) skincare, body care and spa formulations. Add to the water phase of all emulsion types. Can be salt sensitive in some formulas, preferentially used in non-ionic systems.
