Isoplast engineered thermoplastic polyurethanes (ETPUs) are designed for rigid polymer requirements due to their high tensile strength and impact resistance. This product class combines the toughness and dimensional stability of amorphous resins with the outstanding chemical resistance of of crystalline materials. These medical polymers may be used to replace polycarbonate where stress cracking is an issue or where the product needs to be permitted for use inside the body. Isoplast is also ideal for applications needing an impact resistance -based polymer and is available in impact modified or clear versions.
