TF210 - Martindale Abrasion & Pilling Tester

Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester is an instrument used to measure the abrasion and pilling resistance of all types of textile structures. The test involves rubbing fabric samples against known abrasives for a specified number of cycles, under constant pressure and in constantly changing directions.

The amount of abrasion or pilling is then evaluated against standard parameters to determine the strength of the fabric. The Martindale pilling and abrasion testing machine has a unique design that allows individual specimen holders to be removed for examination without lifting the top motion plate.

The equipment is available with 4, 6, or 9 test positions.

The Drive system is PLC, programmable control with a large touch-screen.
